Bands who have launched from Ontario include Rush, Kim Mitchel/Max Webster, Alanis Morissette, Shania Twain, Neil Young, Alannah Myles, Tragically Hip and many more. This page is about identifying Ontario bands who have not made it to the big times. Some bands are on the cusp of becoming internationally known and loved. The following is a list of local bands who are incredible, but have not quite made it to international stardom ( or who have made it and fallen a little down). We’d recommend seeing them while they play smaller local venues and tickets are reasonable.
