Event Description (Available Tickets Below Video)

Journey is an American rock band formed in San Francisco in 1973. They are known for their distinctive blend of rock, pop, and progressive elements, as well as their powerful ballads and anthems. The band’s lineup has evolved over the years, but their classic lineup includes Steve Perry (vocals), Neal Schon (guitar), Jonathan Cain (keyboards), Ross Valory (bass), and Steve Smith (drums).

Journey rose to prominence in the late 1970s and early 1980s with a string of successful albums and hit singles. Their breakthrough came with the release of the album “Infinity” in 1978, which featured the hit singles “Wheel in the Sky” and “Lights”. However, it was their seventh studio album, “Escape” (1981), that catapulted them to superstardom. The album produced several chart-topping hits, including “Don’t Stop Believin'”, “Open Arms”, and “Who’s Crying Now”.

Throughout the 1980s, Journey continued to dominate the charts and sell out arenas with albums like “Frontiers” (1983) and “Raised on Radio” (1986). However, internal conflicts and creative differences led to lineup changes and eventually a hiatus in the late 1980s.

Journey experienced a resurgence in the 1990s with the release of the album “Trial by Fire” (1996), which featured the hit single “When You Love a Woman”. Although Steve Perry left the band in the late 1990s, Journey continued to tour and record with new vocalists, including Steve Augeri and Arnel Pineda.

With their enduring catalog of classic rock songs, Journey remains a beloved and influential band, continuing to perform to enthusiastic audiences around the world. Their music has left a lasting impact on the rock genre and has earned them a dedicated fanbase spanning generations.
